I would like to write about a book that’s been really helpful for me in the Area of Quality Assurance, adressing software testing:
It uses a simple language so it’s easy to follow for a non-technical person and a non-native speaker.
This is a basic book in Software/Web Quality Assurance as it covers:
- Definition of Quality
- Testing Techniques
- How to write good requirements in order to transform them into good Test Cases
- Deep review of Waterfall Testing: Use Requirements; Logical Design; Physical Design; Program Unit Design and Coding
- Deep review about Spiral Testing: Plan; Do, Check, Act.
- A light summary about Project Management
- Testing Tools
Another possitive thing is that it has plenty of patterns like: Testing Plan, Test Case Log, Test Execution Plan, Defect Report, etc.
I hope you find it as helpful as it’s been to me!!
